Situated on the most secluded part of Zanzibar's coastline, the Breezes Beach Club, Palms and Baraza resorts are all owned by the same hotel chain, and are situated within relatively close reach of each other.

The Breezes, which has recently undergone major renovation, is by far the largest of these hotels, comprising as it does some 70 en-suite rooms, all with a terrace or balcony, air conditioning as standard, and tasteful Zanzibari furnishings.

Not surprisingly for a hotel of this size, the facilities include four restaurants, three bars and a coffee lounge. In particular The Tides offers private beach-front dining for two in an intimate setting with personalised service and a special menu - ideal for honeymooners!

The hotel's other facilities are almost too numerous to mention: The Frangipani Spa offers world-class beauty treatments; there is a Marine Activity Centre, PADI DIving Centre, Fitness Centre, Tennis Court (floodlit), Shopping Bazaar and Movie Entertainment Centre.
